INTRODUCTING: VIBE SHIFT
SYSTEM ONLINE: VIBE SHIFT IS LIVE
The bridge between your thoughts and your terminal is finally open. [VIBE SHIFT: Sidebar Links] is now officially available on the Chrome Web Store.
HOW IT WORKS
It's no secret that the biggest thing in design and development right now is "Vibe Coding."
It isn't just a fun activity; it's an exploding market that is revolutionizing business as we know it. But it's a relatively new tool that people are still getting used to.
There is a lot of "copy and pasting" going on when you Vibe Code. Searching and editing files usually requires you to disrupt your workflow, minimize windows, and look for files—leading to that dreaded moment: "Did I just save over the wrong file?"
VIBE SHIFT: SIDEBAR LINKS alleviates these worries and cuts Vibe Coding times drastically by providing you with an easy-to-access window that "shares" the screen with your favorite AI in the Chrome browser.
Now you are taking code directly from your AI and dropping it directly into the file.
First, you need the extension. Go here to download. Once installed, simply pin it to your task bar, right-click it, and select "Open sidepanel." Boom, you're in.
You will notice you have some slots to work with; by clicking these, you can add any .txt file. Once the file is loaded, anything you copy to your clipboard can be "dropped off" into that link slot, and it will instantly rewrite the file to whatever you've copied. This sounds much scarier than it is, as after each paste, the "undo" button will allow you to revert to the last file state.
Switch from light to dark mode by clicking the moon. Keep track of your coding sessions with your timer, and keep the Vibe Alive by never having to leave your Chrome window while editing projects.
FAQ:
"I saved my link but it still shows the same code in the pop-up editor"
Answer: Just minimize the pop-up editor again out of view, or click the X to close it and reopen it with the pencil icon; now your newly saved info is ready to view and change.
"How Do I change my Note Names?"
Answer: Just double-click on them, then click away. These new note names will even be saved into the notes themselves!
"Does 'clear links' clear my notes?"
Answer: Nope. Your notes stay active until you delete them. They stay persistent across different Chrome screens as well.
